* Expertise - severe lower limb fractures and post-traumatic limb reconstruction, including non-union, malunion & deformity, limb length inequality, bone loss and amputation.

Personal Injury
Mr Britten is happy to receive instructions from both Claimant and Defendant solicitors for lower limb fractures in general, particularly tibial and femoral fractures.
Clinical Negligence
Mr Britten will accept a modest number of instructions for cases of clinical negligence, in particular Ilizarov circular frame cases; and also tibial and femoral fractures.

Mr Britten is a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Leeds Teaching Hospitals since 2002, having completed surgical training in Bath and Bristol and following fellowship training in the Ilizarov method at the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Centre for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics in Kurgan, Siberia.
